This week we will be starting a new Module.  The theme is Look Around Explore!  In this module we will be reading stories that inspire the kids to look at details in the world around them and explore new things.  In math we will continue Unit 2: Addition and Subtraction Facts.  We are working on fluency with our addition/subtraction facts.  In English we are focusing on asking and telling sentences.  In social studies we are working on maps and landforms and learning about Johnny Appleseed.

Our class carnival King and Queen are Kolten and Kamarra.  Please start sending in coins to fill their cans.

The School Carnival will be November 2.  Our class basket will be a baking basket.  

Please send in items that pertain to baking.  Ex.  cake mixes, mixing  

bowls, spatulas, cake/muffins pans, icing, apron, cookbooks.  Our class

game will be a ring toss.  For that each student will need to bring in

2 two-liters of soda.  You may start sending in items at any time.  Thank
